Sakura is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney in our IP team.

Sakura joined Walker Morris in 2021 from an International law firm and prior to that, Sakura qualified as a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney at a national firm of Trade Mark and Patent Attorneys. Before qualifying as a trade mark attorney, Sakura qualified as a solicitor, specialising in intellectual property law at a boutique IP firm. She entered the profession in 2013.

Sakura works on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious trade mark matters including international trade mark portfolio management, international filing and renewal programmes for clients, in addition to advising on trade mark opposition and cancellation matters. Sakura has experience in IP litigation, particularly in relation to trade mark infringement and passing off actions and she also advises clients in relation to copyright and design issues and domain name disputes.
