Jane is a Partner in our Real Estate Group. Recognised for her in-depth knowledge and experience of real estate, she specialises in the landlord and tenant sector, with a focus on retail and leisure clients.

Getting a deal completed in accordance with client needs and desires is something she finds particularly rewarding, and Jane strives to make sure this is on the best commercial terms and with ease and simplicity of process.

A collaborative and fuss free approach

Of her approach to client work, Jane describes herself as “no fuss”. She tries to make sure her practical and commercial advice is “easy to use” for her clients – for whom she is always available and her collaborative way of working compliments this.

Jane approaches challenging situations with a smile, and although she acknowledges that her team might describe her working style as exacting and hard-working, she endeavours to keep things as relaxed and informal as possible.

Client advice that is holistic and cohesive

This works well with life at Walker Morris, where there has always been an open door policy, and where no-one stands on ceremony – “we pull together as a team, sharing access to clients and resource, to provide a cohesive, holistic approach to client advice, as well as support and mentoring to staff”.

Jane is listed in Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession as a ‘key individual’ and is involved in the Walker Morris mentoring schemes. She regularly has responsibility for a trainee.
