Construction & Engineering
Daniel trained and qualified with the firm and advises on both the contentious and non-contentious fields of construction and engineering. Best known for working on development contracts, he provides practical and commercial advice to help clients achieve positive outcomes.
With a great deal of experience in development matters, Daniel has acted for leading developers, contractors, subcontractors and lenders, focusing in particular on non-contentious development work in the forward fund market.
Using the law to find practical solutions to client problems is the most rewarding part of the job for Daniel, and his approach to client work is centred around people: “my approach is very much based on building a relationship with the client in order to understand their needs and drivers”.
Daniel describes his working style as pragmatic and personable, which helps enormously with the relationship building aspect of the job– something that is highly valued at Walker Morris.
Time management in a world where we are always contactable can be a challenge, but Daniel takes the time to understand the urgency of each matter, to make sure he can properly allocate his time to meet his clients’ needs.
The first generation in his family to attend university, (his father was a market trader), Daniel is driven to succeed and make his family proud.
“The most enjoyable part of my job is building and maintaining relationships with my clients. This allows me to properly understand their business so that I can deliver tailored and commercial advice to give them the best opportunity to achieve their goals. I am totally committed to my clients and helping them succeed.”
