Online auction for unique celebrity masterpieces is launched!

The anonymous heART project is now LIVE

Bid online here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/heartresearchuk_shop

National charity Heart Research UK has launched an innovative fundraising campaign centred on artwork created anonymously, sponsored by national law firm Walker Morris.

The anonymous heART project features hundreds of A5 sized pieces of artwork which have been created and donated by some of the biggest names across entertainment, politics and the arts. Contributors include Nicola Sturgeon, Nick Cave, Jo Brand and Ralph Steadman.

All artwork is up for auction on eBay until just after 9pm on Sunday 11 November 2018

The twist? All bids will be blind. Though the list of artists will be available to all bidders, the artist of each individual piece will be kept anonymous, only being revealed after the auction is over.

All money raised will fund Heart Research UK’s pioneering medical research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease.

Malcolm Simpson, Managing Partner at Walker Morris, said:

“Supporting pioneering art and charitable projects has been a key part of our strategy for over two decades. The anonymous heART project is a truly creative project which offers new perspectives on the traditional methods of accessing art and allows everyone a unique opportunity to bid for their own mini masterpiece.

“We believe this ethos reflects our own culture and values as a distinctive law firm. In today’s uncertain business climate it is the organisations who to continually strive to be inventive and inspire new ways of thinking which will ultimately be successful.”

Barbara Harpham, Chief Executive of Heart Research UK, said:

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Walker Morris, a firm with a clear focus on charity and the arts. They really are the perfect sponsors for this campaign.

“We’ve had an overwhelming response to the anonymous heART project from artists, designers and celebrities all over the world.

“Everyone has the chance to own a piece of iconic art, and what we raise will help us continue our ground-breaking medical research, helping us benefit patients as soon as possible.”
