James is a Partner in our Finance Group.  He has twenty years of experience working with financial services clients, increasingly in recent years in the alternative lending sector.

James has advised many of the main clearing banks as well as acting on the borrower side for a number of corporates in acquisition finance, real estate finance and general corporate lending matters.

Focused and efficient

When asked to describe his strengths, James says he likes to “focus on getting a deal done”.  He starts by making sure he understands exactly what his client wants, then makes sure he can be as efficient as possible in terms of service delivery.

This dedicated approach to his work is something James sees mirrored by his colleagues. He says, “there’s full support across the firm” and this “friendly and professional” approach within the work environment is something he values highly.

James is also keen to credit the great internal resources at Walker Morris as well as a wider team with helping him provide the all-round service his clients have come to expect.
